Ryan has always loved the artisan small batch wines of Italy. Meg (although slightly biased) will say that South African is best. During our trip to South Africa in 2022, Meg took Ryan to over 25 wineries and wine bars to show Ryan just how good South African wines are. 

Whilst Ryan still prefers the Italian wines, we knew from that holiday that we wanted to get married in South Africa one day. 

Our wedding venue is a working wine farm, owned by Hein and Adi Badenhorst who make natural wines using biodynamic methods. The way Jesus would have.

Coincidentally, their chenin blanc was the first natural wine we managed to convince Megan's dad to order when celebrating our engagement in Melbourne.
