What is the dress code?

Smart casual. 

Men: No jeans or shorts, ties optional. 

Women: Largely outdoors on grass. Bright colours welcomed but not required. 

When do we need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP by 10 January 2026 including sharing any dietary requirements.

What time should we arrive?

We have a shuttle bus arranged to pick up guests from The Royal Hotel in Riebeek-Kasteel at 3pm. The Royal Hotel is the perfect place for a gin and tonic whilst you wait. The shuttle will then drop you back to your individual hotel/airbnb in the area throughout the evening. 

If you are making your own way to the venue please arrive by 3.30pm. 

Please let either Meg or Ryan know if you wish to use the shuttle bus for pick up, drop off or both. 

What time does the wedding start?

The ceremony will begin at 4pm, please arrive by 3:30pm and have a drink in the gardens. 

Will the wedding be outdoors?

The plan is for the day to be outside unless it rains. Please therefore wear spf and bring a fan if needed.

Is there any transport at the end of the day?

We have hired a shuttle bus for the day. If you require transport at the end of the day the shuttle bus will drop you to your hotel/airbnb door. The shuttle bus will do multiple trips throughout the evening. Please let either Meg or Ryan know if you wish to use the shuttle bus for pick up, drop off or both. 

Is there a gift registry or honeymoon fund?

We are very aware that getting married in South Africa isn't an easy trip for many and the fact we can share the dance floor with you is all we could wish for. We don't have a gift registry. 

We have started honeymoon planning and will be in Europe May 2026. If you would like to contribute to our trip we will share our bank details closer to the time on this page (really not expected, but will help fund all the wine we will be bringing back to Aus).
